Agnelli and Allegri reunite to share Juventus memories | OneFootball

Former Juventus President Andrea Agnelli and coach Max Allegri were reunited on a night out at a winery, sparking a mixed response from fans.

The pair had a special bond when working together in Turin, as Agnelli was known to be a big supporter of the tactician.

It was Agnelli who recalled Allegri in 2021, two years after he had been dismissed to make way for a more attacking style of football.

The second spell was nowhere near as successful as the first and ended in disgrace with a sacking for his rage-filled antics during the Coppa Italia Final in May.

Agnelli had already departed the club, himself forced to step down along with the entire Board of Directors due to financial irregularities that saw the side docked Serie A points and excluded from Europe.

So when they were pictured together at a winery at Pietrasanta in Tuscany and the image shared on social media, it had some Juventus fans longing for the past.

Others were glad to see the back of that particular approach to football, as Agnelli and Allegri’s strategy was not always popular.
