Barcelona star confirms Hansi Flick’s serious punishment for being late | OneFootball

Barcelona midfielder Pedri has provided an insight into the punishment awaiting the club’s stars, in the case of being late to team meetings, training sessions, or matchdays.

Barcelona, of course, are fresh off keeping alive what has been a stellar start to the new campaign on Wednesday.

After putting Red Star Belgrade to the sword by five goals to two in the Champions League, the Blaugrana made it 14 wins from 16, including seven on the spin.

As much comes under the orders of new headmaster Hansi Flick, whose expansive, direct brand of football has garnered widespread praise across Spain and beyond.

As alluded to above, though, the German’s influence goes far beyond simply setting his team up with the best chance to secure victories on the pitch.

In addition, Flick is a stict rule-maker.

As much was confirmed by midfielder Pedri this week, who, during an appearance on ‘Martínez y Hermanos’, provided an insight into the regulations surrounding punctuality in Catalunya’s capital:

“If a player is late somewhere with Hansi Flick, he will not start the next match, or not play at all.”
