Barcelona star left out of squad vs Real Madrid | OneFootball

Barcelona star Ansu Fati has again been omitted from the club’s matchday squad for their latest outing.

Barca are of course primed to return to action in short order.

After booking their spot in the competition’s finale at the expense of Athletic Club in midweek, the Blaugrana will lock horns with arch rivals Real Madrid, in the Spanish Super Cup showpiece.

As alluded to above, though, in efforts to secure what would be a first piece of silverware of the campaign, Hansi Flick’s troops will again make do without Ansu Fati in Jeddah.

Despite being back fully fit, wide-man Ansu was left out of the Barcelona matchday squad to face Athletic on Wednesday.

And this has proven the case once more this evening, with the 22-year-old having been left to watch on from the stands at King Abdullah Sport City.
