The XI of players expected to be depended upon by Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick for the club’s showdown with Real Madrid this evening is now considered as all but set in stone.
Barca are of course primed to return to action later today, when they battle it out for the Spanish Super Cup crown in a meeting with arch rivals Real.
Boss Flick will be expected to make use of a full-strength line-up in Jeddah, amid an ongoing search for his first silverware since taking up the reins in Catalunya’s capital.
And as much, it is understood, means the Blaugrana sticking with the same group of players who got the better of Athletic Club in the Supercopa semi-finals in midweek.
As confirmed by multiple sources, Hansi Flick’s only real debates when it comes to his XI to face Real Madrid came in goal, and in the attacking midfield spot.
With Wojciech Szczęsny and Gavi having seemingly done enough to beat out the competition of Iñaki Peña and Dani Olmo respectively, though, Barca should set up as follows later today:
Szczęsny; Koundé, Cubarsí, Iñigo Martinez, Balde; Casadó, Pedri, Gavi; Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Lewandowski.
