The representatives of Lille forward Jonathan David are in ‘concrete talks’ with Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur over a summer move to the Premier League.
David is out of contract at Lille in the summer and has emerged as one of the most coveted free agents of the upcoming transfer window.
The Canadian forward has scored 107 goals in 224 games for Lille to attract interest from Europe’s elite.
David has scored 20+ goals in each of the last three campaigns for the French side. This season, he netted nine time in 14 European games as Lille reached the last 16 of the Champions League.
Top teams in England are now pushing for a deal to sign the 25-year-old. According to French outlet Le10Sport, David’s agent has held ‘concrete talks’ with several Premier League teams.
Arsenal have registered an interest, with the signing of at least one centre-forward the priority for the North Londoners. Season-ending injuries to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus have derailed the club’s title challenge, with the Gunners currently without a recognised forward.
Manchester United are also in the market for a striker. Rasmus Hojlund has scored just three league goals during a difficult second season at Old Trafford. The former Atalanta forward has been linked with a potential return to Serie A.
Spurs are searching for increased firepower, with both Dominic Solanke and Richarlison having struggled with fitness issues in 2024/25. London rivals West Ham are also keen on David, though face a challenge to convince the Canadian amid an expected absence from European football next season.
The Hammers, Spurs and Manchester United are also considering David’s club teammate, Angel Gomes, who is also out of contract in the summer.
