There is now just one game left until the dreaded international break commences with the Reds taking on Aston Villa before a fortnight of international football.
It was feared Salah would be involved in Egypt's next two games against Cape Verde and Botswana for their African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
However, with Egypt having already qualified from their group to the tournament taking place in 2026, Liverpool have been handed a huge boost.
Shorouk News in Egypt reports exclusively that Salah has been exempted from the national team's upcoming matches with the decision made to rest him and keep him away from the artificial surface he would otherwise would have had to play on against Cape Verde.
This is great news for Liverpool and a huge boost for Slot's preparations ahead of a testing late November and early December period where Salah will be very much relied upon.

Liverpool's U21 side took on Blackpool in the EFL trophy and there was an iconic moment in the game that will have sent the club's supporters down memory lane.
Oakley Cannonier, a young forward in the club's academy, emulated a rather brilliant goal scored by Fernando Torres against Blackpool over 10 years ago.
Incidentally, Torres is also one of Cannonier's idols, although his moment was spoiled by the linesman.

Although Bajcetic has played over 20 times for Liverpool’s first team, and is currently a regular starter for Salzburg, he has only made one appearance for Spain’s U21 side at international level.
He has also only made three appearances for the U18s, and he could now look to switch his allegiance to get more international experience under his belt.
According to a report by Diario AS, if Bajcetic is not called up to the next Spain U21 squad, which will be announced on Friday, then the Football Association of Serbia will try and convince him to represent Serbia rather than Spain moving forward.

Although development can be seen in the squad as a whole, Alexander-Arnold has himself developed as a player under the new regime at Anfield.
This season has marked a noticeable improvement in the fullback’s defending, and that is down to Slot's coaching according to Trent.
“He’s someone who helps me, he teaches me,” Trent explained. “He’s harsh on me, which I like, and he’s someone who’s helping me with frailties in my game and what I need to improve and helping me improve.”
Alexander-Arnold is clearly impressed by Liverpool’s new boss, and supporters will be pleased to hear how invested Slot is on helping his players improve.

Following the game against Bayer Leverkusen, which his side won 4-0, Alexander-Arnold took to Instagram to share a picture from the night.
Trent’s post wasn’t accompanied by a caption and only consisted of one photo, a picture of him and Bayer Leverkusen’s manager Xabi Alonso.
This was the only post he has made since the match, and it has led fans to speculate online that it could be a hint at the 26-year-old's future.
