Paris Saint-Germain have focused on signing young talent in recent transfer windows, but Luis Enrique and Luis Campos know experience is just as important—if it fits the club’s system and culture.
One area PSG could strengthen is defense, especially with Milan Skriniar expected to leave permanently this summer following his winter move to Fenerbahçe.
Instead of making a blockbuster signing, PSG might look at a short-term deal for a familiar name. Virgil van Dijk’s contract expires at the end of the season, and reports suggest he’s on PSG’s radar.
According to Anfield Watch, the French club are eyeing Liverpool’s captain with a reported €80 million offer over two years, plus an option for a third season. A sizable signing bonus would push the total package to €100 million.

Van Dijk’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain. His contract runs through the end of the season, but there’s been little progress on an extension, making a summer departure increasingly likely.
Fichajes reports that Atletico Madrid and PSG are both potential landing spots for the Dutch center back, though there are mixed signals about PSG’s actual interest.
David Ornstein of The Athletic reports that all parties are downplaying links between Van Dijk and PSG, adding that Liverpool remain hopeful he will sign an extension.
Meanwhile, ESPN’s Julien Laurens reported that a deal isn’t close, despite a video surfacing last week of Van Dijk with PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos.
