RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins understands that Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt have reached an agreement in principle over the signing of Omar Marmoush (25).
Foot Mercato reported last week that the Premier League side, sturggling for form both domestically and in Europe, were nearing an €80m deal to sign the Egyptian forward, who has taken the Bundesliga by storm this season. In 26 appearances in all competitions, he already has 20 goals and 14 assists; he is going at a better rate than a goal contribution per game.
Marmoush himself has already given the green light for a move to the Etihad Stadium, as reported by Foot Mercato.
RMC Sport’s Hawkins now understands that an agreement in principle has been agreed between the two clubs. The final details are being applied to the deal and the plan is for him to take no part in Eintracht Frankfurt’s game against Borussia Dortmund on Friday.
