Milan are making a January approach for Borussia Dortmund left-back Almugera Kabar, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The 18-year-old is a very versatile figure who can play in any of the varied roles down the left flank, including wide midfield and as part of a trident attack.

A product of the Borussia Dortmund youth academy, he was promoted full-time to the senior squad this season, but made an impact mainly in the UEFA Youth League with one goal and one assist in three games.

There were also three senior Bundesliga appearances.

He was part of the Germany squad that won the European and World Under-17 Championships, both in 2023.

Sky Sport Italia claim that Milan aim to bring Kabar in as an understudy to Theo Hernandez and the plan is to get him in January, although laying the groundwork for a summer swoop might be easier.

The Rossoneri arguably already have Alex Jimenez in that role, who stood in for injured Rafael Leao in the Supercoppa Italiana victory over Juventus.
