Milan Škriniar’s future at Paris Saint-Germain seems uncertain, with manager Luis Enrique favoring Willian Pacho and Marquinhos as his main center-back pairing. As for Marco Asensio, he’s searching for more minutes.

This shift has sparked fresh speculation about Škriniar’s potential departure. After turning down offers from other clubs in the summer, the Slovak defender might now be considering a move with the January transfer window opening.

L’Équipe reported that Škriniar is set to make a decision this week regarding his next club. PSG is looking to secure a loan deal with an option to buy.

Škriniar has also attracted interest from Galatasaray, Tottenham, Napoli, and Aston Villa. However, Napoli is not offering a purchase option, while the Premier League clubs are especially appealing to him.

PSGINSIDE-ACTUS reports that there will be an issue for Asensio and Škriniar, as they’ll need to be sold rather than loaned. Another challenge is that, for now, the clubs interested in Škriniar have only made loan inquiries.

A report from CaughtOffside claims that PSG could be willing to sell Škriniar for around €35 million, with two Premier League clubs showing interest.

Newcastle United are reportedly keeping an eye on the situation, aiming to strengthen their defense amid concerns over Jamaal Lascelles and Fabian Schär. They view Škriniar as an experienced and affordable option.

Tottenham are also said to be interested, seeing him as a reliable backup for Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero. However, negotiations may be tricky, as manager Ange Postecoglou reportedly sees Škriniar more as a rotational player than a regular starter.

Meanwhile, Fichajes reported on Thursday that Unai Emery wants Asensio to be one of the three signings that the Premier League club make before the January transfer window closes.
