Contacts are expected between AC Milan and Manchester United in the next few hours regarding Marcus Rashford, a report has confirmed.
According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia – in collaboration with Sky Sports UK – there will be talks between the Rossoneri and Manchester United over Rashford in the next few hours.
With Noah Okafor currently on his way to Germany to complete a medical and sign for RB Leipzig, the need to sign a forward to bolster the attacking depth has become even more pressing.
Di Marzio adds that Borussia Dortmund are also interested in signing the now-ostracised Rashford. There is a good relationship between the two clubs after Jadon Sancho ‘s loan last year, which was convenient for both parties.
During his time there Sancho increased his market value and then he headed to Chelsea, something the Red Devils are keeping in mind with Rashford too as they look to recoup as much as possible.
Before the game against Cagliari on Saturday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke to Sky about the pursuit of Rashford: “I know Rashford very well, we played together when we were younger. Now he is a Manchester man. It doesn’t take much to convince him, Milan is one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
What has emerged is that United would prefer to loan the Englishman out and are also prepared to pay a good portion of his salary.
