It was only a matter of time before Brentford grew into the game with their first chance coming on 10 minutes when a deep cross fell to Chloe Webb.

The left-back made a good run but was unable to keep her shot down with her effort going wide.

Logie came close moments later when an out-swinging corner from Woods fell to the striker, but her volley went just wide of the near post.

Brentford’s top scorer put her earlier miss behind her when she gave the visitors the lead on 13 minutes.

Woods’ brilliant through ball found Logie who took the ball around the Whyteleafe keeper before passing home into an empty net.

Three minutes later and the Bees made it 2-0, this time through Englehard who finished in style finding the bottom corner after latching on to a loose ball inside the box.
