Liverpool and Italy winger Federico Chiesa has been linked with a move to Napoli and his transfer to the Stadio Maradona makes sense now that PSG have resumed talks for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Footmercato reported last week that Napoli were close to reaching an agreement over a six-month loan deal for Liverpool winger Chiesa.
The Italian star has been struggling with injuries and playing time during his opening six-month spell at Liverpool, and his January exit is on the cards.

Chiesa’s potential Napoli transfer would make sense now that PSG have resumed talks to sign Kvaratskhelia.
Several reputable sources, including Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano, say that the Ligue 1 giants are directly negotiating with Napoli.
The Partenopei have been struggling to reach an agreement to extend Kvara’s contract beyond 2027, so if the winger leaves in the current transfer window, Chiesa would be an ideal replacement.
It is no secret that Antonio Conte is a long-time admirer of Chiesa, whom he wanted to sign from Juventus last summer.
It is also true that Conte blocked Kvaratskhelia’s PSG move in the previous transfer window, so if the Georgian leaves this month, Conte will surely expect a valuable replacement at the Stadio Maradona.
