Antonio Conte insists the Inter victory ‘changes nothing’ for Napoli, who are focused on facing Fiorentina this afternoon. ‘We need to make the most of what we’ve got.’

It kicks off at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona at 14.00 GMT.

Inter struggled to get the better of rock bottom Monza last night, fighting back from 2-0 down to win 3-2, so the Partenopei need a victory to keep up the pressure on the leaders.

“That result might’ve seemed like it could be taken for granted on paper, but you need to play and win every match on the field,” Conte told DAZN.

“You can be playing against the leaders or the team at the bottom of the table. It changes nothing for us, we are looking only at our own progress and build on what we saw in last week’s game against Inter.”

Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa, David Neres and Pasquale Mazzocchi are still out of action, so Billy Gilmour is confirmed in midfield, with late goal hero Philip Billing on the bench after his equaliser against Inter.

“We continue to make choices, some of them are forced upon us due to injuries,” noted Conte of his move from 4-3-3 to 3-5-2 in the last few weeks.

“In these situations, we need to make the most of what we’ve got, so we found new solutions with Jack Raspadori and Gilmour. Raspadori is a player who always did very well, never complained, so it’s only right to reward these lads when they deserve a chance.”

Napoli are without a home victory in Serie A for six weeks, including the 1-1 draw with leaders Inter in that Scudetto showdown.
