Napoli might have lodged a larger offer for Jacopo Fazzini, but the player prefers joining Lazio, at least for now. The contacts with the Biancocelesti had been going on for longer. More importantly, he believes he’ll have more minutes under Marco Baroni, Alfredo Pedullà reports.

Empoli didn’t accept the bid from Lazio for Fazzini right away, and Napoli swooped in. The talent is eager to transfer to Rome, but there could still be room for the Partenopei to change his mind. The Biancocelesti have put other pursuits on hold, while their rivals are after other options.

He’s right in having reservations seeing what has happened to Giacomo Raspadori, Cyril Ngonge, and a few other talents in the Partenopei’s squad, but the situation will change next season when they’ll play in the cups. He’s appealing because he’s relatively cheap, but, in reality, somebody more muscular than technical would fit them better.
