Francesco Acerbi is not yet back in training for Inter Milan, while Denzel Dumfries and Tajon Buchanan are both fully fit.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report on the Nerazzurri’s training session today, the first regular session since the team’s Champions League loss to Bayer Leverkusen.
Inter were back in training today.
After the travel delays back from Germany, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi gave his players a day off, apart from those who had stayed behind from the team’s trip to Leverkusen.
But today, the full squad is back in training.
However, there are a couple players who are not able to work with the rest of the team.
Defender Francesco Acerbi is still working individually.
The veteran Italian international continues to work on his personalized recovery program as he aims to shake off a thigh strain.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard is continuing his rehab from a thigh strain of his own.
More positive news comes on the flanks, however.
FCIN report that wingback Denzel Dumfries is in full training today.
The Netherlands international had missed Inter’s Champions League match against Leverkusen due to a fever.
However, Dumfries has recovered from his illness. Today was his second training session without any problems.
Meanwhile, FCIN report, fellow wingback Tajon Buchanan also trained normally today.
The Canadian international had been suffering from a bit of muscular fatigue.
However, reports FCIN, Buchanan was able to carry out a full training session today.
