Back in training again and ready to react. Milan Futuro want to put their home loss to Lucchese behind them and get back to winning ways. Their next match is on Saturday 15 February at 15:00 CET against Pianese on matchday 27 in Group B of Serie C Now. It will be a challenge against a team in great form, who haven't lost at home since the start of December. Determined to fight back, let's prepare for kick-off with our Match Preview.
LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO This week's big news is the addition of Mauro Tassotti to Coach Bonera's staff. His experience as a Milanista will definitely help the team to bounce back. The home defeat against Lucchese interrupted a positive string of results (1W, 2D), and it will no doubt motivate the Rossoneri to get back to winning ways. The signs have been largely positive, especially following the away win at Ferrara, and the boys have to restore this feeling. The squad was boosted in the Winter transfer market, and the aim is to get as far up the table as possible and to escape the relegation play-offs. A strong performance is definitely needed against Pianese and the Rossoneri are ready to turn the tide after training hard at Milanello throughout the week.
LATEST FROM PIANESE The Tuscans sit seventh in the table, equal with Pineto on 38 points. Pianese is one of the most in-form teams at the moment, racking up four wins in their last five. Their current manager is Alessandro Vittorio Formisano who started the season at Perugia, but he was fired after their defeat to Milan Futuro on 27 October last year. This will only fuel his desire to win the match. Guglielmo Mignani is the Tuscans main scorer with twelve goals so far this season. Federico Mastropietro has also had a good season with seven goals.
Formisano commented: "Milan Futuro are a quality side, and they've dropped points despite dominating games: the table doesn't reflect their season. It will be a tough match to play, there are many challenges".
