The eventual replacement of Head Coach Julen Lopetegui is being patient as he awaits the club to sack the Spaniard.

Lopetegui has been an incredibly disappointing appointment for the club, with the club staring at a full scale relegation battle this season with the performances and results we have seen thus far under the former Spain boss.

It was highly anticipated thatWest Ham would part ways with Lopetegui last week, however the club opted to offer the beleaguered Head Coach more time, although despite the win over Wolves on Monday – there are still serious doubts from the top.

Karren Brady is also understood to be a huge backer of Potter, which is likely to be a big reason as to why David Sullivan has shifted his view on the former Brighton boss.

So for Potter and the vast majority of West Ham fans, its a case now of playing the waiting game.
