Dan Friedkin thanks Everton fans for their ‘continued support’ in his first formal letter as the club’s chairman.

The Friedkin group formally completed Everton’s takeover today, but an agreement was already reached at the end of September.

“Dear Evertonians,

“Following the completion of the takeover of Everton Football Club, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and introduce the incoming Executive Chairman of Everton, Marc Watts,” Dan Friedkin wrote on Everton’s website in his first letter for the fans.
