For the Nerazzurri, the match is virtually must-win. Napoli’s win over Atalanta yesterday has really put the pressure on Inter to keep pace.

But for Empoli, it’s no less important to seek a result. The Tuscans currently find themselves with some breathing room in midtable, but also aware that one or two bad results could see them get sucked into the relegation battle.

Fazzini & Vazquez To Return To Empoli Starting XI Vs Inter

According to the Corriere, a couple of key players who didn’t start Empoli’s Serie A loss to Lecce last weekend will return to the lineup.

Midfielder Jacopo Fazzini came off the bench against Lecce. However, he will start against Inter this evening.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Devis Vazquez has been a key player for Empoli this season. And he will also be back.

In the back three, the Corriere report that Saba Goglichidze, Adrian Isamaijli, and Mattia Viti will start for Empoli.

Then, the newspaper report, in midfield it will be Alberto Grassi and Liam Henderson alongside Fazzini.

On the flanks, Emanuele Gyasi and Giuseppe Pezzela will start, reports the Corriere.
