Some good news for Slot ahead of Merseyside derby at Anfield
Arne Slot has confirmed Liverpool duo Ryan Gravenberch and Alisson are on course to be fit for Wednesday’s Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield.
Gravenberch went off in the second half of the Carabao Cup final and then withdrew from the Netherlands squad over the international break.
Alisson pulled out of the Brazil squad last week after a heavy collision with Colombia defender Davinson Sanchez, and subsequently missed their 4-1 defeat to Argentina.
But Slot has confirmed Gravenberch and Alisson have both trained ahead of the Everton game and should be fine.

Slot said on Tuesday: “Ryan Gravenberch is okay. Alisson trained with us as well. The last check is later today.”
Slot has also provided an update on Conor Bradley, who has bene out since February with a hamstring injury.
“Conor Bradley is with us again but he's only had a few sessions after being out for quite long,” said Slot. “So we have to make a smart decision.”
Slot was also asked about Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future amid reports Real Madrid are close to agreeing a deal to sign the full-back on a free transfer.
“His situation is unfortunately that he is injured,” said Slot. “For him, that means he is fully focused on his recovery.
“We’re trying to help him to come back. We’ve never been focussed on those talks.
“It is a situation that is here for eight months. They have done so well in these circumstances.”
