A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid is attracting transfer interest from no fewer than eight clubs.

The player in question? Horațiu Moldovan.

Moldovan, for his part, recently made clear his intention to seek out a new adventure for next season.

Just six months on from making the move to Spain’s capital, the 26-year-old has already become disillusioned with his situation, sitting firmly behind Jan Oblak in the pecking order between the posts.

Whilst on international duty with Romania at Euro 2024, Moldovan therefore announced his intention to move on over the months ahead.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, the shot-stopper should not be at all short on options.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, Moldovan has made his way onto the wishlist of eight clubs from across the globe.

The sides in question? Celtic, Hamburg, Getafe, Real Valladolid, Rayo Vallecano, Ferencvaros, Al Ared and Damac.

Atlético, meanwhile, have made their demands for the Romanian known, seeking out a minimum of €2.5 million to sanction Moldovan’s sale.
