Barcelona pair included in statistical La Liga Team of the Week | OneFootball

Two members of Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad have been included in the La Liga Team of the Week, based on statistics.

Barcelona, of course, are fresh off a dominant victory in Spain’s top-flight over the weekend.

After welcoming Valencia to Catalunya’s capital in the knowledge that nothing but three points would suffice amid their efforts to hunt down Real Madrid, the Blaugrana absolutely ran riot.

Owing in large part to an explosive first-half display, Flick’s hosts emerged on the right side of a 7-1 result.

A number of Barca’s stars shone bright en route to as much, from Frenkie de Jong in midfield to Alejandro Balde at left-back.

It was two others, though, who did enough to secure for themselves places in the reliable Sofascore’s statistical Team of the Week in La Liga.

Winger Raphinha slots in with a rating of 8.2 after adding to his mounting season goals tally on Sunday, whilst Fermín Lopez takes his place as the gameweek’s standout player (9.9), just ahead of Real Madrid frontman Kylian Mbappé (9.8).
