According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund have had a change of heart regarding Karim Adeyemi.

It had previously been reported that BvB would be willing to listen to offers for the pacey forward this summer, amid interest from the Premier League.

As well as this, Serie A side Juventus have recently begun talks with Adeyemi’s management concerning a potential transfer. However, it is understood that the 22-year-old is now set to stay at the Westfalenstadion this summer.

The new Dortmund head coach, Nuri Şahin, has stated his intention to keep Adeyemi and insists that he will play a key role for the club next season. This has been clearly communicated internally, as Şahin believes that Adeyemi’s pace is an irreplaceable element in the attack for Die Schwarzgelben.

Therefore, unless a lucrative offer is made, it appears as though the former RB Salzburg forward will remain at Dortmund. With a contract still in place until 2027, the rumoured €30 million fee that Juventus are looking to offer would certainly not test BvB’s resolve.

Instead, it is more likely that Donyell Malen will depart Dortmund this summer. The Dutchman has been linked with a move away from the Westfalenstadion for the best part of a year, but as of yet, no offers have been made for his services.
