Inter took on Cagliari in Serie A on Saturday evening.

It was not an easy match for the Nerazzurri. Particularly in the first half.

However, in the second Inter really found their groove.

The Nerazzurri really started to move the ball around quickly. This led to more and more chances.

In the end, Inter got three goals. But just as important was their clean sheet.

Simone Inzaghi’s team managed to take the sting out of the match and prevent Cagliari from really taking advantage of any spaces at the back.

The Rossoblu had certainly tried to force some difficulties for Inter in the first half.

But as they have often done this season, Inter were able to get a handle on the match despite Cagliari’s intensity, physicality, and organization.

Condo: “Inter Game Management Vs Cagliari Shows They’re Serie A Title Favourites”

Condo gave his verdict on the title race between Inter, Atalanta, and Napoli.

“Conte was able to catch up with Gasperini with a win,” he writes. “Who came out of the match against Lazio fairly content in the end, but with mixed feelings.”

“Atalanta nearly lost. Therefore, the draw is a good point. But it’s true that they could have won it, so there’s regret.”

Condo argues that “Above all, there’s a feeling that Inter are the favourites for ‘winter champions.'”

“Even though winning their game in hand in Florence is certainly not something they can take for granted.”

“The way that they managed the match against Cagliari and made winning seem inevitable confirms that they’re the real favourites,” Condo argues.
