Juventus are struggling to reach an agreement with Atalanta for Teun Koopmeiners so, according to Tuttosport, they have inquired about Celtic talent and La Dea’s target Matt O’Riley.

Denmark international O’Riley has attracted interest from Juventus and according to a fresh report from Tuttosport newspaper, the Bianconeri sounded out the availability of the Celtic talent.

Juventus are looking for a new attacking midfielder and given that talks with Atalanta for their priority target Koopmeiners are stalling, Giuntoli has reportedly called Celtic to inquire about the 23-year-old.

It’s probably not a casual move, given that O’Riley is one of the possible Koopmeiners replacements identified by Atalanta. The Nerazzurri’s asking price for Koopmeiners is €60m, but Juventus won’t offer more than €40m-45m.

Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto has recently reported that La Dea will soon send a second offer to Celtic for O’Riley after seeing a €15m bid rejected last week.

According to Tuttosport, O’Riley’s price tag is around €30m, while Gazzetta reported last week that Celtic would accept to sell the 23-year-old for circa €25m.
