La Liga president Javier Tebas has spoken out regarding the criticism aimed in the direction of José María Sánchez Martínez by Real Madrid TV.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real, of course, are primed to return to action tomorrow night, in the most high-profile fixture of the Spanish football calendar.

As much will see Los Blancos play host to arch rivals Barcelona, in the latest edition of El Clásico.

In the days leading up the clash, those at Real Madrid TV, in turn, have made use of the opportunity to heap pressure on the man set to oversee proceedings at the Santiago Bernabéu.

José María Sánchez Martínez is the official to have has been assigned to the clash, no doubt eager to do the best possible job with the eyes of fans the world over watching on.

The last thing which the Spaniard needed, in turn, was a wave of critical comments on the part of the aforementioned Real Madrid TV.

Speaking to the media on the eve of the Clásico, the aforementioned Javier Tebas, a self-professed Real supporter, was therefore drawn on the subject.

And La Liga’s president went on to admit that he considers such condemnation to be against ‘fair play’:

“Real Madrid TV’s video criticizing tomorrow’s Clàsico referee? I didn’t watch it, but if it’s like their previous clips, then it’s not fair play. This is not fair play and doesn’t represent Real Madrid’s values.”
