Legends of El Clasico - LIVE!
Real Madrid battled back to earn a 2-2 draw but Barcelona then came out on top on penalties in Qatar. After an entertaining 80-minute match, Barcelona won 4-2 in the shootout to get one over on their big rivals.
Juan Pablo Sorin opened the scoring, finishing well at the back post, before Ronaldinho doubled the lead as he clipped a sensational free-kick into the top corner from 20 yards out. David Villa and Ludovic Giuly also impressed in a half dominated by Barcelona.
Real, though, came out quickly after the break and got themselves level with two goals in the space of five minutes. Edwin Congo slid a pass through to Luis Figo and the winger made no mistake from close range, before Congo then got himself on the scoresheet as he pounced on a Frank de Boer to run clean through on goal and equalise.

However, Patrick Kluivert’s spot-kick was saved well by Pedro Contreras as it finished level. The two sides will meet again in Tokyo on December.
