Runaway Serie A leaders Inter Milan are on the verge of tying Francesco Pio Esposito down to a new long-term contract.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the parties have ‘reached an agreement’ over a new deal.

Currently on loan at Spezia, Francesco Pio Esposito is among Europe’s most highly-rated young prospects.

Therefore, the Italians are reluctant to take any chances, as they’ve made strides in extension talks with the prodigious striker.

Parties have reportedly found common ground, with Esposito set to pledge his future to Inter until 2030.
