It is always a good idea for FC Barcelona to keep an eye on the opportunities that present themselves in the market. Given their current economic climate, it is clear to see that Barça does not have the strongest of budgets to back them up. As a result, it is important for Barcelona to take advantage of the opportunities that come their way.

However, not every opportunity arrives in the form of La Blaugrana coming into contact with a player who wishes to leave their previous club. While there certainly are such cases in which certain players reveal their desire to join the Catalan outfit, there are also other extreme situations that can be termed as great opportunities.

This time around, such opportunities arrive from a certain Bavarian club. For Barcelona and Real Madrid, as highlighted by SPORT, the recent transfer operations being conducted by Bayern Munich could pave the way for a plethora of different transfer opportunities opening up.

The two most apparent cases would be those of Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies. Due to Bayern having recently signed the likes of Michael Olise and Hiroki Ito, with Joao Palhinha being rumored as a potential signing, the expenditures far outweigh the revenue generated so far this summer.

To balance their books, it could be possible to see Bayern part ways with some previously important players. The likes of both Kimmich and Davies could be included in that list, especially given their sizeable salaries, and that is great news for both Barcelona and their Madrid-based rivals.

Now under the guidance of Hansi Flick, Barça will look to sign Kimmich as he remains one of the German coach’s most-liked targets. Davies, on the other hand, is a player that Real Madrid have been hoping to incorporate into their team since quite a while.

Other players who may also possibly be put on the transfer market include the likes of Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, Matthijs de Ligt, and Kingsley Coman. Both Kimmich and Davies end their contracts in 2025, while the others either see their deals expire in 2026 or later in 2027 at the latest.
