Everyone at FC Barcelona are currently awaiting approval from La Liga for the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor before the midnight deadline.
The Blaugrana have been facing relentless challenges on the financial front in recent seasons, which have once again come to the fore this month as they continue to struggle to register Olmo and Victor and have had to resort to extreme measures.
Given the well-established economic issues, Barcelona’s market strategy is increasingly focused on strengthening the youth talent at La Masia and identifying emerging stars yet to reach their full potential, following the success of players like Pedri and Ronald Araujo.
And, in recent days, the name of Eliesse Ben Seghir, a young winger making waves at AS Monaco, has emerged.
According to a recent report from GOAL (h/t Mundo Deportivo), Barcelona have been closely monitoring Ben Seghir, who has been making a positive impression in France.
Ben Seghir, who is valued at €30 million by Transfermarkt, has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 23 matches this season.

The Moroccan left-winger has also had the experience of playing against Barcelona, making his Champions League debut in the opening match of the current season.
The 19-year-old has already admitted to idolising two former Barcelona superstars and icons – Lionel Messi and Neymar.
“Neymar is my role model. I love his freedom and his style of play,” the youngster said in an interview with ‘Onze Mondial’.
“All young players look up to him. And of course, there is Messi, whose ability to beat an entire team is incredible.”
Ben Seghir, who has three goals in eight games for the Moroccan national team, is contracted with AS Monaco until the summer of 2027.
With the Catalans in the market for a new left-winger in the summer, the teenager could be a cost-effective option in comparison to top targets like Rafael Leao and Nico Williams.
